Quick guide from the manual

The Bosch EasySpray 18V-100 is a cordless fine-spray system designed for spraying solvent-based and water-dilutable lacquers, varnishes, primers, clear lacquers, impregnations, oils, and water. It is not suitable for wall paints (emulsion/latex), caustic solutions, or acidic coating materials.

Assembly

Signature verification
Signature verification
  1. Connect the air hose to the base unit and the spray gun using the bayonet locks.
  2. Attach the carrying strap to the base unit for flexibility.
  3. Ensure the spray gun and base unit are fully assembled with all seals.

Operation

Preparation: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and grease-free. Mask off sockets and switches. Stir the spray material thoroughly and dilute if necessary (see dilution table in the manual). Fill the container up to the 800 mark. Adjust the suction tube based on the spraying angle (forward for horizontal objects, backward for overhead work).

Spraying: Hold the spray gun 15–20 cm from the object. Start spraying outside the target area and move the gun evenly. Overlap spray paths by 4–5 cm.

Settings

  • Spray Pattern: Adjust the air cap to horizontal, vertical, or round jet settings. Never actuate the trigger while adjusting.
  • Material Volume: Use the thumbwheel to adjust the volume. Start with the minimum and increase until the desired pattern is achieved.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Thoroughly clean the spray gun and container immediately after each use. Use warm water for water-based paints and the appropriate diluting agent for solvent-based paints. Clean the air filter occasionally and replace it if heavily contaminated.

Troubleshooting

If the spray material does not cover properly, increase the material volume or reduce the spray distance. If the spray jet pulsates, refill the container or clean the suction tube and ventilation hole.
