Quick guide from the manual
The Bosch EasySpray 18V-100 is a cordless fine-spray system designed for applying solvent-based and water-dilutable lacquers, varnishes, primers, clear lacquers, impregnations, oils, and water. It is not suitable for wall paints (emulsion/latex), caustic solutions, or acidic coating materials.
Assembly
- Connect the air hose to the base unit and the spray gun using the bayonet locks.
- Attach the carrying strap to the base unit for flexibility.
- Ensure the spray gun and base unit are fully assembled with all seals.
Operation
Preparation: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and grease-free. Mask off sockets and switches. Dilute the spray material according to the manufacturer's instructions and the provided dilution table. Stir thoroughly.
Spraying: Hold the spray gun 15–20 cm from the surface. Start spraying outside the target area. Move the gun evenly horizontally or vertically, ensuring 4–5 cm overlap for uniform quality.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Thorough cleaning immediately after each use is essential for proper operation. Use warm water for water-based paints and the appropriate diluting agent for solvent-based paints. Never use pointed objects to clean nozzle or air holes.
Troubleshooting
- Spray material does not cover properly: Increase spraying capacity or reduce spray distance.
- Spray material runs off: Reduce spraying capacity or increase spray distance.
- Spray jet pulsates: Refill spray material or clean the suction tube and ventilation hole.
