Operation Modes

Use the impact/rotation stop switch to select the desired mode:

  • Hammer Drilling: For concrete or stone.
  • Drilling/Screwdriving: For wood, metal, ceramic, and plastic.
  • Vario-Lock: To adjust the chisel position.
  • Chiseling: For light demolition work.

Note: Only change the operation mode when the tool is switched off.

Tool Changing

  • SDS-plus: Insert the accessory into the tool holder until it locks automatically. Pull the accessory to check for secure locking. To remove, push the locking sleeve back.
  • Cylindrical/Hexagonal Shanks: Use only in the 'Drilling' mode. Open the chuck, insert the tool, and tighten the front sleeve until a clear click is heard.

Connectivity Features

The tool features Bluetooth Low Energy technology. Use the Bosch Toolbox or Bosch BeConnected app on your smartphone to register the tool, check status, and customize settings in 'Favorite' mode. If the tool is not recognized, ensure the distance is appropriate and the internal button cell battery is not depleted.
