The Bosch GBH 18V-26 D Professional is a cordless rotary hammer designed for hammer drilling in concrete, brick, and stone, as well as light chiseling. It is also suitable for drilling without impact in wood, metal, ceramic, and plastic, and for screwdriving.

Device description
The device features an SDS-plus tool holder, a worklight, and a mode selector switch for choosing between hammer drilling, drilling, and chiseling. It includes a depth stop for precise drilling and an auxiliary handle for better control.

Operation
To operate the tool, insert a charged battery until it clicks. Select the desired operating mode using the impact/mode selector switch. Ensure the rotational direction switch is set to clockwise for drilling and chiseling. Adjust the speed/impact rate by varying the pressure on the on/off switch.
Tool changes
The SDS-plus system allows for easy tool changes. To insert a tool, clean and grease the shank, then insert it into the tool holder until it locks automatically. To remove, push the locking sleeve back and pull out the tool. For tools without SDS-plus, use a keyed chuck.
Safety and maintenance
Always remove the battery before performing maintenance or changing tools. Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean. Replace a damaged dust protection cap immediately. For service, contact Bosch customer support or visit www.bosch-pt.com.
