The Bosch GBH 18V-26 D Professional is a cordless rotary hammer designed for hammer drilling in concrete, brick, and stone, as well as light chiseling. It is also suitable for drilling without impact in wood, metal, ceramic, and plastic, and for screwdriving.
Device Description
The tool features an SDS-plus tool holder, a mode selector switch for hammer drilling, drilling, and chiseling, and a Vario-Lock function for adjusting the chisel position. It includes a worklight, a battery charge indicator, and an auxiliary handle for secure operation.
Operation
Battery: Use only original Bosch Li-ion batteries. The battery is partially charged upon delivery; charge it fully before first use. To remove, press the release button and pull the battery out.
Operating Modes: Use the impact/mode selector switch to choose between hammer drilling, drilling, and chiseling. Always change modes only when the tool is switched off.
Tool Changing: The SDS-plus system allows for easy, tool-free bit changes. For non-SDS-plus tools, use the provided keyed chuck.
Safety and Maintenance
Always remove the battery before performing any maintenance or changing tools. Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean. Replace a damaged dust protection cap immediately. For repairs, contact an authorized Bosch service center.
