Device Description

The band saw features a lock-off button, on/off switch, auxiliary handle, worklight, and a lever for blade pre-tensioning. The blade is protected by a cover secured with locking clips.

Assembly

Always remove the battery before performing maintenance or changing the blade. To install the blade: release the locking clips, open the cover, and turn the tension lever 180°. Guide the blade into the guides and around the rollers. Return the lever to its original position and close the cover.

Operation

Insert the charged battery from the front until it locks. To start, press the lock-off button, then the on/off switch. The worklight illuminates the area. Release the switch to stop. The tool features temperature-dependent overload protection.

Working Advice

Hold the tool firmly with both hands. Select a cutting position where as many teeth as possible are in the cut. Place the tool on the workpiece using the guide and lower the blade slowly. Reduce pressure just before finishing the cut to prevent the tool from falling onto the workpiece.
