Quick guide from the manual
The Bosch GCG 18V-600 Professional is a cordless caulking gun designed for applying sealants and adhesives from standard sachets (foil bags) and cartridges. It can be used on dry, dust-free, and grease-free surfaces, and is suitable for outdoor use in areas protected from splashing water.
Device description
The tool features a rack-and-pinion drive with adjustable feed rate, a barrel for sachets/cartridges, and a locking mechanism for the on/off switch. It is powered by an 18V Bosch battery.
Assembly
Inserting a sachet (foil bag):

- Remove the battery.
- Unscrew the front barrel cap.
- Unlock the rack and pull it backwards.
- Cut open the sachet and insert it into the barrel.
- Position a suitable nozzle and seal with the front cap.
- Carefully slide the rack forward until the plastic plunger touches the sachet.
Inserting a cartridge:
- Remove the battery.
- Unlock the rack and pull it backwards.
- Unscrew the front barrel cap.
- Cut open the cartridge and screw on a nozzle.
- Insert the cartridge and seal with the front cap.
- Carefully slide the rack forward until the aluminium press touches the cartridge.
Operation
Adjusting the feed rate: The feed rate can be adjusted by varying the pressure on the on/off switch or by preselecting the maximum speed using the feed rate thumbwheel.
Switching on/off: Push the locking mechanism down to unlock, then press the on/off switch. Releasing the switch stops the rack immediately to prevent further material extrusion.
Safety and maintenance
Always remove the battery before performing any maintenance or changing accessories. Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean. The tool is maintenance-free. If the tool overheats, the temperature-dependent overload protection will switch it off; allow it to cool down before restarting.
