Device Description
The tool features an adjustable depth stop, a dust extraction adapter, a worklight, and a spindle lock button for easy tool changes. It is powered by an 18V battery.
Tool Changing
Warning: Always remove the battery before performing any work on the tool. Wearing protective gloves is recommended.
- Remove the fastening screw and take off the depth stop together with the dust extraction adapter.
- Press and hold the spindle lock button. Turn the motor spindle manually if necessary until it locks.
- Use the 16 mm open-ended spanner to loosen the collet nut.
- Insert the application tool into the collet (at least 20 mm deep).
- Tighten the collet nut with the spanner.
- Reinstall the depth stop and dust extraction adapter.
Operation
Adjusting the Depth Stop
The cutting depth must only be adjusted when the tool is switched off. Loosen the fastening screw, slide the depth stop to the desired position, and retighten the screw.
Switching On and Off
To switch on, press and hold the on/off switch for longer than 1 second. To switch off, release the switch. The motor brake ensures an immediate stop.
Dust Extraction
Connect the dust extraction adapter to the depth stop. Attach a 35 mm extraction hose to the adapter and connect it to a suitable dust extractor.
Maintenance
Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean for safe operation. Always remove the battery before maintenance or transport.
