Device Description
The tool features a tool holder (1), locking sleeve (2), PowerLight (3), speed indicator (5), and electronic speed preselection (6). The GDR 12V-110 uses a 1/4" internal hexagon, while the GDS 12V-115 uses a 3/8" square drive.
Operation
The tool operates in two phases: screwing and tightening (impact mechanism). The impact mechanism activates when the screw connection tightens and the motor is under load. Use the rotational direction switch (9) to change direction. Speed is controlled by the pressure applied to the on/off switch (10).
Battery Maintenance
Use only recommended chargers. Charge the battery fully before first use. The charge level can be checked by pressing the on/off switch halfway. Protect the battery from moisture, water, and temperatures outside the -20°C to 50°C range.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regularly clean the ventilation slots to prevent metal dust accumulation. Clean the tool holder (1) and locking sleeve (2) periodically. Always remove the battery before performing any maintenance or tool changes.
Technical Data
Both models operate at 12V. No-load speed ranges from 0-1200 min-1 (setting 1) to 0-2600 min-1 (setting 2). Impact rates are 0-2700 min-1 (setting 1) and 0-3100 min-1 (setting 2).

Common problems
Tool does not start
Check if the battery is charged and correctly inserted. Ensure the rotational direction switch is not in the center position.
Reduced speed or tool shuts off
The tool is overloaded or the battery temperature is outside the permitted range. Allow the battery to cool down or reduce the load.
Application tool (bit/socket) is loose
Ensure the tool is correctly inserted and locked in the tool holder. For GDS 12V-115, slight play is normal due to system design.

- Ensure the battery is fully charged.
- Select the correct application tool (impact-resistant bits/sockets).
- Check that the rotational direction switch is set correctly.
- Ensure the workpiece is securely clamped.
