The GFA 18-H rotary hammer adapter is a specialized attachment designed to transform compatible cordless drill/drivers into powerful rotary hammers. It is intended for hammer drilling in concrete, brick, and stone. This adapter is exclusively compatible with the Bosch GSR 18V-60 FC and GSR 18V-90 FC cordless drill/drivers.

Safety Instructions

Always wear hearing protection when using this tool, as exposure to noise can cause hearing loss. Use the provided auxiliary handle to maintain control and prevent injury. Hold the tool by insulated gripping surfaces when performing operations where the cutting accessory may contact hidden wiring. Always start drilling at a low speed with the bit tip in contact with the workpiece to prevent the bit from bending.

Assembly and Operation

Before performing any work on the tool (e.g., maintenance, tool change), remove the battery. To mount the adapter, insert it into the holder and turn the locking ring until it audibly engages. The SDS plus chuck allows for easy and convenient tool changes without additional tools. Use the depth stop to set the required drilling depth. The auxiliary handle can be swiveled to any angle for a safe and fatigue-minimized work posture.

Maintenance

Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean for safe and efficient operation. After each use, clean the application tool, the GFA 18-H adapter, and the tool holder. If the dust protection cap is damaged, it must be replaced immediately by an authorized service center.
