The Bosch GFA 18-H rotary hammer accessory is a specialized attachment designed to transform compatible cordless drill/drivers into powerful rotary hammers. It is specifically engineered for hammer drilling applications in concrete, brick, and stone. This accessory must only be used with the following Bosch cordless drill/drivers: GSR 18V-60 FC, GSR 18V-90 FC, and EXSR18V-90FC.

Safety Instructions

Operational Safety: When drilling, ensure you have a stable footing and hold the power tool firmly with both hands. If the application tool becomes blocked, switch off the power tool immediately to prevent high torque reactions that cause kickback. Use suitable detectors to identify hidden supply lines in the work area to avoid fire, electric shock, or gas explosions.

Assembly and Operation

Changing the Tool: The dust protection cap prevents drilling dust from entering the tool holder. Replace a damaged dust protection cap immediately. Use the SDS plus system for easy and tool-free accessory changes.

Operation: Select the drilling or hammer drilling mode using the torque presetting ring. Adjust the rotational direction only when the power tool is at a standstill. Use the gear selector switch to choose between two speed ranges based on the application (low speed/high torque for heavy-duty tasks, high speed/low torque for light-duty tasks).

Maintenance and Disposal

Always remove the battery before performing any maintenance or tool changes. Keep the power tool and ventilation slots clean for safe and efficient operation. Dispose of power tools, batteries, and packaging in an environmentally friendly manner, following local regulations.
