Quick guide from the manual

The Bosch GOP 18V-28 Professional is a cordless multi-cutter designed for sawing, cutting, sanding, and scraping various materials including wood, plastic, plasterboard, and non-ferrous metals. It is ideal for flush-cutting and working near edges.

Device Description

The tool features an oscillating drive system, an SDS lever for tool-free accessory changes, and a worklight. It is compatible with Starlock and StarlockPlus accessories.

Operation

Battery Installation: Slide the charged battery into the base of the tool until it locks securely.

Tool Changing: Open the SDS lever fully to eject the accessory. Position the desired accessory on the tool holder and press it firmly until it locks automatically. Always wear protective gloves when changing tools.

Depth Stop: The depth stop can be used with segment and plunge cut saw blades. Slide it over the tool holder onto the collar and lock it in the desired position.

Sanding: Attach sanding sheets to the sanding plate using the hook-and-loop system. Ensure the holes in the sanding sheet align with the holes in the sanding plate for effective dust extraction.

Dust Extraction

Always connect a dust extraction system when sanding. Remove the accessory and depth stop before mounting the dust extraction system. Secure it with the clamping lever and connect the dust extraction hose to a suitable vacuum cleaner.

Safety

Always remove the battery before performing any maintenance or tool changes. Do not use the tool for wet sanding. Keep hands away from the sawing area and do not reach under the workpiece.
