Device Description
The device is designed for trimming grass, light undergrowth, weeds, nettles, saplings, and smaller shrubs at ground level. It features an Anti-Tangle function to prevent blockages and a Pro-Tap system for easy line feeding.
Assembly and Operation












- Assembly: Follow the illustrated steps (A-U) for mounting the protection guard, plant protector, kickback protection, and carrying strap.
- Battery: Insert the charged battery until it clicks. Use only recommended chargers.
- Operation: Use both hands to operate the tool. Keep the cutting head away from your body and other objects during startup.
- Line Feeding: Tap the trimmer spool lightly on the ground to feed the line (Pro-Tap).
- EasyWind: Allows line loading without disassembling the spool.
Maintenance and Cleaning
- Remove the battery before any maintenance, transport, or storage.
- Keep the product and ventilation slots clean.
- Never spray the product with water or immerse it in water.
- Store in a secure, dry place out of reach of children.
- Sharpening and balancing the cutting blade requires practice; Bosch recommends using an approved replacement blade.
Troubleshooting
If the motor does not start, check the battery charge and ensure it is fully inserted. If the tool functions intermittently, contact Bosch customer service. For heavy vibrations, check the cutting head/blade for damage or imbalance and ensure all components are correctly fitted.
