Quick guide from the manual
The Bosch GRW 11 E Professional is a 1150W stirrer mixer designed for mixing powdered building materials like mortar, plaster, and adhesives, as well as non-solvent-based paints and varnishes. Always use the provided auxiliary handle and hold the tool with both hands for safe operation.
Assembly
Before performing any work on the tool, disconnect the mains plug. Attach the auxiliary handle 2 by turning its bottom part counter-clockwise to position it, then tighten it by turning clockwise. To change the tool, screw the stirrer paddle 4 with the adapter 3 onto the drive spindle 5. Secure the drive spindle 5 with a 17 mm open-end spanner and tighten the adapter 3 and stirrer paddle 4 using a 24 mm open-end spanner.
Operation
Ensure the mains voltage matches the tool's nameplate. The tool features a mechanical gear selector 1, which can be adjusted at standstill or while running (avoid doing this under full load). Gear I is for low speed (up to 200 mm diameter paddles), and Gear II is for high speed (up to 140 mm diameter paddles). To start, press and hold the On/Off switch 6. For continuous operation, push the lock-on button 7 upward while the switch is pressed. Adjust speed by varying the pressure on the On/Off switch 6.
Working Advice
Choose the stirrer paddle based on material viscosity: use a left-hand spiral for low-viscosity materials (e.g., dispersion paint, varnish) and a right-hand spiral for high-viscosity materials (e.g., concrete, mortar). Move the tool up and down during mixing and clean the paddle after use.
Maintenance
Always disconnect the power before maintenance. Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean. If the power cord needs replacement, it must be done by an authorized Bosch service agent to avoid safety hazards.
