Safety Information

Assembly

Protective Guard: Place the guard (9) on the holder until the coding cams align. Press and hold the unlocking lever (1), press the guard onto the spindle collar, and rotate until it clicks into place.

Auxiliary Handle: Screw the auxiliary handle (7) or vibration-damping handle (8) into the gear head on the left or right side.

Fitting Abrasive Tools: Clean the grinding spindle (22) and all parts to be fitted. Press the spindle lock button (3) to lock the spindle. Secure the grinding/cutting disc using the mounting flange (12) and clamping nut (18) or quick-clamping nut (19).

Operation

Switching On/Off: Push the on/off switch (4) forward to start. To lock, press the front of the switch down until it clicks. To switch off, release the switch or press the back of the switch if locked.

Working Advice: For rough grinding, use a 30° to 40° angle for best results. Move the tool back and forth with moderate pressure. Always use the correct guard for the specific task.

Maintenance and Service

Keep the power tool and ventilation slots clean for safe operation. For repairs, contact Bosch after-sales service. Always remove the battery before transport or storage.
