Quick guide from the manual
This document provides essential information for installing and operating the Bosch Indego 350 and Indego 400 robotic lawnmowers. Before starting, ensure the perimeter wire is correctly installed and the area is free of obstacles.
Installation
The docking station must be positioned on the perimeter wire at an outer edge of the cutting area. It cannot be placed on the side of a shed or tool house that stands as an island within the lawn. For the first few weeks, set the cutting height to 50 mm to prevent the mower from cutting the perimeter wire. Additional perimeter wire can be added using a wire connector, up to a maximum length of 250 m.
Operation
The mower is equipped with a lift-up sensor, rollover sensor, tilt sensor, and obstacle sensor. If any sensor is activated, the mower stops. The mower features a manual mode, a programmable schedule mode, and a Bosch AUTO calendar function. The mower must complete 3 full cutting cycles to learn the lawn area.
Maintenance
Always wear gardening gloves when working near the sharp blades. Turn off the mower using the isolator switch before any maintenance. Clean the exterior with a soft brush and cloth; do not use water, solvents, or polishes. Regularly clean the blade area and swivel castors.
Troubleshooting
- LED on docking station flashes: Perimeter wire is interrupted, too long, or too short. Check wire length (20-250 m) and connections.
- Excessive vibration/noise: Blade bolt is loose or blade is damaged/bent. Tighten bolt to 2.5 Nm or replace blades.
- Mower not docking reliably: Perimeter wire not properly laid out around the docking station or interference nearby. Follow installation guide or change wire ID.
- Mower fails to operate: Isolator switch not turned on, possible clogging, battery not fully charged, or grass too long.
Technical Data
Both models feature a 19 cm cutting width, 30-50 mm cutting height, and 18V Li-Ion battery. The Indego 350 is designed for lawns up to 350 m², and the Indego 400 for up to 400 m².

Common problems
Check that the perimeter wire is not interrupted and is between 20 and 250 meters in length. Switch power supply off and on again.
Tighten blade bolt to a torque of 2.5 Nm or replace the cutting blade.
Ensure the isolator switch is turned on, check for clogging under the mower, or ensure the battery is charged.
Mow more frequently by setting more/longer time slots in the schedule, or replace blunt blades.
