Quick guide from the manual
This manual provides essential instructions for the Bosch GBH 18V-26 and GBH 18V-26 F cordless rotary hammers. Key operations include battery installation, tool selection (SDS-plus or standard), and mode selection (hammer drilling, drilling, or chiseling). Always ensure the rotational direction switch is in the middle position during transport or storage to prevent accidental activation.

Device Description
The tool is designed for hammer drilling in concrete, brick, and stone, as well as light chiseling. It is also suitable for drilling without impact in wood, metal, ceramic, and plastic. Models with electronic control and right/left rotation are also suitable for screwdriving.
Operation
To operate, insert the battery until it clicks. Use the impact/mode selector switch to choose the desired mode. Ensure the tool is switched off before changing modes. The rotational direction switch allows for clockwise or counter-clockwise rotation. The Electronic Precision Control (EPC) assists when working with impact in sensitive materials by ensuring a slow start-up and reduced operating speed.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Always remove the battery before performing any work on the tool. Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean for safe operation. Replace a damaged dust protection cap immediately. Clean the tool holder after each use.
Safety
Wear ear protection. Use auxiliary handles if supplied. Hold the tool by insulated gripping surfaces when performing operations where the cutting accessory may contact hidden wiring. Always ensure a stable footing and hold the tool firmly with both hands.
