Device Description

The GSA 12V-14 is a cordless sabre saw designed for cutting wood, plastic, metal, and building materials. It features an SDS tool holder for quick blade changes and a PowerLight for illuminating the work area.

Assembly

Battery Charging: Use only the chargers listed in the technical data. The battery is supplied partially charged; charge it fully before first use. The Li-ion battery is protected against deep discharge by ECP (Electronic Cell Protection).

Removing the Battery: Press the unlocking buttons and pull the battery downwards out of the tool.

Inserting/Replacing the Saw Blade: Turn the locking sleeve approx. 90° in the direction of the arrow and hold. Push the saw blade into the holder and release the locking sleeve. Ensure the blade is securely seated.

Operation

Switching On and Off: Push the lock-off button to the left to unlock. Press the On/Off switch to start the tool and release it to stop. Push the lock-off button to the right to lock the tool.

Controlling the Stroke Rate: The stroke rate is controlled steplessly by the pressure applied to the On/Off switch.

Plunge Cutting: Only suitable for soft materials like wood or plasterboard. Place the base plate on the workpiece and slowly plunge the blade into the material.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Always switch off the tool and lock the switch before maintenance. Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean. Clean the saw blade holder with compressed air or a soft brush and apply a suitable lubricant.

Tool does not start
