The Bosch GPB 18V-6 C Professional is a cordless speaker designed for audio playback from connected sources or via Bluetooth. It can be powered by Bosch 18V or 10.8V/12V Li-ion batteries, or a standard USB Type-C power supply with Power Delivery (USB-PD).

Device Description

The speaker features a carrying handle, integrated speakers, and a control panel with volume, Bluetooth, Multi-Speaker Sound, and playback controls. It includes a connector compartment with a USB-C input for power and a USB-C output for charging external devices.

Operation

Switching On/Off: Press and hold the On/Off button until the status indicator LEDs light up. The speaker automatically switches off after 20 minutes if no connection is established or playback is active.

Bluetooth Operation: By default, the speaker is in Bluetooth mode. Press and hold the Bluetooth button (>0.5s) to start a new connection search. The speaker will appear as 'GPB 18V-6 C xxxx' on your audio source.

USB Playback: Open the connector compartment and insert a USB storage medium into the output port. The speaker will automatically switch to USB playback if the medium is readable.

Battery and Power

Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment cover. For 18V batteries, slide into the 18V holder until it clicks. For 10.8V/12V batteries, slide into the respective holder. Close and lock the cover.

Charging External Devices: The USB output port can charge devices (e.g., mobile phones) with a maximum current of 1.5A while the speaker is switched on.
