Device Description
The trimmer is designed for domestic use to trim grass and weeds at ground level, including areas under obstacles and along lawn edges that are inaccessible to lawn mowers. It is not intended for commercial or industrial use.
Assembly
Before assembly, ensure the battery is removed. The handle (1) can be adjusted by pressing buttons (7). The protection guard (10) must be mounted on the trimmer head using the provided screw and should not be removed once installed.


Operation
To switch on, press the lock-off button (3) followed by the On/Off switch (4). To switch off, release the switch. The trimmer head can be rotated 180° for edge cutting by pressing button (2). The trimmer features a semi-automatic line feeding system that advances the line each time the On/Off switch is pressed. Manual feeding is possible by pressing the line-feed button (17).

Maintenance and Cleaning
Always remove the battery before transport, storage, or maintenance. Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean. Do not spray with water or immerse in water. Store in a dry, secure place out of reach of children. Use only Bosch-approved replacement parts.
Troubleshooting
If the motor does not start, check if the battery is charged or if it is too hot/cold. If the tool vibrates heavily, check the cutting system for damage or debris. For persistent issues, contact Bosch customer service.
