Assembly and Operation
The trimmer requires assembly of the protection guard, handle, and wheel. Ensure the protection guard is clicked into place and secured with the provided screw. The working height can be adjusted by pressing the height adjustment button. The handle can be unfolded for use. The wheel can be mounted to the trimmer head for edge cutting, ensuring the lever clicks into place.
Battery Charging and Operation
Charge the battery using a compatible Bosch charger. The battery is equipped with temperature monitoring that allows charging only between 0°C and 35°C. To switch the trimmer on, press the lock-off button, then press and hold the On/Off switch. Release the switch to turn it off. The trimmer features an IntelliFEED system that automatically feeds the cutting line to maintain the cutting diameter.
Maintenance and Storage
Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean for safe operation. Never spray the tool with water or immerse it. Store in a dry, secure place out of reach of children. Regularly check for loose nuts, bolts, and screws. Replace worn or damaged parts for safety. Clean battery venting slots occasionally with a soft, dry brush.
Troubleshooting
If the motor does not start, check if the battery is charged or if it is too hot/cold. If the trimmer vibrates abnormally, ensure the clamping ring or spool cover is correctly mounted. For issues with line feeding, inspect the spool and ensure the line is correctly wound.
