Device description
The hedge trimmer features a dual-handle design with safety switches on both handles, which must be pressed simultaneously for operation. It includes an anti-blocking mechanism to prevent stalling in tough material.
Operation
To start the tool, insert the battery until it clicks, then press the front switch and the rear handle switch simultaneously. To stop, release either or both switches. For best results, cut the sides of the hedge first, then the top, moving in the direction of growth.
Battery maintenance
Store the battery and tool within a temperature range of -20 °C to 50 °C. Do not leave the battery in the product under direct sunlight. Clean ventilation slots occasionally with a soft, dry brush.
Safety
Do not use the tool in bad weather, especially if there is a risk of lightning. Keep all power cords away from the cutting area. Always wear eye and ear protection. The tool contains magnets; keep away from medical implants like pacemakers.
Maintenance
Keep the product clean for safe operation. Lubricate the blade bar with maintenance spray before each use. The hedge trimmer, blades, and battery cannot be repaired by the user; contact Bosch customer service for any defects.

Hedge trimmer does not operate
