Quick guide from the manual
This manual covers the operation and safety of the Bosch UniversalHedgeCut (50, 58, 60) and AdvancedHedgeCut (65, 68, 70) series hedge trimmers. Always ensure the tool is switched off and the plug is disconnected before performing any maintenance, cleaning, or if the cable is damaged.

Operation
To switch the trimmer on, press and hold the lock-off button (3), then press the On/Off switch (2). To switch off, release the lock-off button (3) and then the On/Off switch (2).
Working with the hedge trimmer
Move the trimmer evenly forward along the cutting line. The double-sided blade allows for cutting in either direction or with a side-to-side motion. Cut the sides of the hedge first, then the top. For straight sides, cut from bottom to top in the direction of growth.
Maintenance and cleaning
Always disconnect the mains plug before working on the product. Keep the product and ventilation slots clean for safe operation. Never spray the product with water or immerse it in water. Lubricate the blade with maintenance spray before each use. Store in a dry, secure place out of the reach of children.
Safety
Always wear eye protection and sturdy gloves. Do not operate the trimmer in bad weather, especially when there is a risk of lightning. Keep all power cords away from the cutting area. The tool is double-insulated and does not require an earth connection.
