Table of contents
Product Overview
The Clarke Tiger 1800B is a robust, petrol-driven power washer designed for efficient cleaning tasks. It features a 98cc 4-stroke engine and is capable of delivering a maximum pump pressure of 110 Bar. The unit is designed for outdoor use and includes a detergent pickup facility for enhanced cleaning performance.

Safety Rules
Warning: High-pressure water jets can be dangerous. Never direct the spray at people, animals, or electrical equipment. Always wear protective clothing and safety glasses. Ensure the machine is operated only by trained personnel and never run the engine in poorly ventilated areas due to exhaust fumes. Always release system pressure before disconnecting hoses.
Assembly and Setup
Upon unpacking, ensure all components are present, including the gun/lance assembly, high-pressure hose, and storage brackets. Attach the hose and lance storage brackets to the frame. Connect the high-pressure hose to the gun and the washer outlet, ensuring connections are secure. Before use, the engine must be filled with SAE10W-30 oil to the correct level on the dipstick. Refuel with unleaded petrol in a well-ventilated area while the engine is cool.
Operation
To start, ensure the water supply is connected and fully open. Set the choke to START, fuel valve to ON, and throttle to the left. Switch the engine to ON and pull the recoil starter. Once running, move the choke to RUN. To stop, move the throttle to the right, turn off the engine switch, and release residual pressure by squeezing the trigger. Never turn off the water supply while the engine is running.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance is essential for longevity. Periodically clean the nozzle using the provided tool, clean the water inlet filter, and inspect the fuel strainer. The air filter should be washed in mild detergent, dried, and lightly oiled with clean engine oil. For long-term storage, drain the fuel tank and ensure the machine is stored in a clean, dry location.
Troubleshooting
If the engine fails to start, check fuel levels, oil levels, and the spark plug connection. If there is a lack of pressure, check for obstructions in the nozzle, ensure the water filter is clean, and bleed any air from the hose. If the unit will not draw chemicals, ensure the detergent filter is clean and the hose is not too long.
