The Dexter 12VVIB2-200.1 is a cordless tool designed for two main functions: as a vacuum lifter for moving ceramic tiles, marble, and stone slabs, and as a tile vibrator to ensure uniform adhesive distribution and reduce air pockets. This tool is for indoor use only.

Safety Information

  • Always wear safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and a dust mask.
  • Do not use the tool on flexible materials like thin plastic films or sheets.
  • Do not use on glass thinner than 3 mm (1/8").
  • Do not use in wet conditions or near flammable liquids/gases.
  • Always store the tool in its BMC case when not in use to protect the rubber seal.
  • Do not leave the tool unattended while attached to a material.
  • Do not use for more than 30 minutes continuously.

Operation

Vacuum Lifter

  1. Ensure the surface is clean and dry. Position the tool over the center of gravity.
  2. Press the ON/OFF button for at least 3 seconds to turn on the display.
  3. Press the pump control button once to create a vacuum seal. It may take up to 5 seconds to reach maximum seal.
  4. Once the pump reaches 100% seal, it will stop and remain activated. You can now lift the object.
  5. To release, press the pump control button twice quickly. If it does not release, use the manual deflation tab.

Tile Vibrator

  1. Use the tool to lift the tile as described above.
  2. Press the speed adjustment button for 2 seconds to unlock the vibration function.
  3. Select the vibration level (1-5) using the speed adjustment button.
  4. Hold the main handle and press the vibration button to start. You must keep the button pressed for continuous vibration.

Maintenance and Cleaning

  • Keep the tool and air vents clean. Use a dry, soft non-metallic brush or vacuum.
  • Do not use water or aggressive cleaning agents on suction surfaces.
  • Regularly check the rubber seal for wear and replace if damaged.
  • Clean the air vents regularly to prevent metal dust accumulation.

Troubleshooting

  • Cannot get good vacuum pressure: Check for air leaks in the rubber seal, blocked air vents, or a faulty air pump motor.
  • Vibration failure: Check for a faulty vibration motor or broken motor cable.
  • Screen light off: Check battery charge or restart the tool.
  • Battery charging failure: If red and green lights flash simultaneously, the battery pack may be defective.
