Safety Instructions

• Do not use the tool in bad weather, especially during thunderstorms, to avoid the risk of lightning strikes.
• Keep all power cords and cables away from the cutting area to prevent accidental damage.
• Hold the tool by insulated gripping surfaces, as the blade may contact hidden wiring.
• Keep all body parts away from the blade. Blades continue to move after the switch is turned off.
• Ensure the tool is switched off and the battery is removed before clearing jammed material or performing maintenance.
• Carry the tool by the handle with the blade stopped and ensure the power switch is not accidentally operated.

Operation

Before starting, ensure the battery is fully charged. Insert the battery until it clicks into place. To switch on, press and hold the power button on the base of the tool; the blades will open. Pull the trigger to close the blades. If the trigger is not operated for approximately 3 minutes, the tool will automatically power off.

Maintenance and Care

Regular maintenance is essential for safe and efficient operation:

• Cleaning: Regularly clean the tool and vent slots. Blow out the housing interior and motor with dry compressed air.
• Lubrication: Lubricate the blades with liquid lubricant before use or after work when the blades are dry. Add oil into the lubricating hole on the back of the tool and perform a no-load cut to distribute the oil.
• Blade Tension: If the blade tension deteriorates, loosen the locking screw, adjust the tension nut with the provided socket wrench, and re-tighten the locking screw.

Troubleshooting and Disposal

If the tool does not operate, check the battery connection. For disposal, do not throw electric power tools into household waste. In accordance with EU Directive 2012/19/EU, used tools must be collected separately and recycled in an environmentally friendly manner.
