Keep the work area clean, well-lit, and free of flammable materials. Ensure the tool is switched off before inserting the battery or connecting to a power source. Never use the tool in explosive atmospheres or with accessories not recommended by FLEX.

Operation

Battery insertion and removal
Battery insertion and removal
  • Battery Insertion: Slide the battery into the tool until it clicks into place.
  • Polishing Tool Attachment: Remove the battery, center the polishing tool on the Velcro pad, and press firmly. Run the tool for 30 seconds without load to check for vibrations before starting work.
  • Speed Control: Use the speed dial to preselect the desired operating speed. The tool features a soft-start mechanism and an overload/overheating protection system that automatically reduces speed if necessary.
  • Usage: Move the polisher in circular, overlapping motions without applying excessive pressure to achieve optimal results and extend tool life.

Maintenance and Care

Regular maintenance is essential for safe operation. Always remove the battery before performing any maintenance. Clean the tool and ventilation slots regularly, and blow out the housing interior with dry compressed air. Keep handles dry, clean, and free of oil or grease. Do not use solvents on plastic components. If the Velcro pad becomes worn, it can be replaced by removing the screws, cleaning the interior, and installing a new pad with the specified torque (2.5-3.0 Nm).
