Product Description

The FLEX XFE 2 15 18-EC and XCE 2 8 18-EC are hand-operated cordless orbital polishers designed for professional use in industry and trade. They are suitable for all types of polishing work, such as painted surfaces on vehicles, furniture, and metal surfaces, using polishing sponges.

Safety

Before using the polisher, read and follow the operating instructions, the general safety instructions for power tools, and the site-specific accident prevention regulations. The polisher must only be used as intended and in perfect technical condition. Always wear personal protective equipment, including eye protection and, if necessary, a dust mask, hearing protection, and gloves. Keep bystanders at a safe distance.

Operation

Insert the charged battery until it clicks into place. To check the battery charge, press the button on the battery indicator. Attach the polishing tool centered on the Velcro pad. Before starting, run the polisher for approximately 30 seconds to check for imbalances and vibrations. Use the dial to preselect the desired speed. The polisher can be operated in brief mode or continuous mode using the locking button.

Maintenance and Care

Regularly clean the power tool and the grille in front of the vent slots. Blow out the housing interior and motor with dry compressed air. Regularly clean the filter cover. Do not loosen the screws on the gear head during the warranty period. Replace worn Velcro pads by removing the battery, removing the polishing tool, and using a Torx wrench to replace the pad.

Troubleshooting

If the device shuts down due to overload or overheating during continuous operation, switch it off and back on again. If vibrations occur after a tool change, adjust the operating speed until vibrations are reduced.

Disposal

Render redundant power tools unusable by removing the power cord (for mains-operated) or the battery (for battery-operated). Do not dispose of power tools or batteries in household waste. Follow local regulations for environmentally friendly recycling.
