Installation Steps

Step 2.1: Prepare the Roller

Slide the Mount Bracket together with a M12 Flat Washer and Spacer into each end of the Cargo Roller as shown in the diagram.

Step 2.2: Mount to Rack

Insert four M8 Thin Nuts (two per side) into the slats' machined slots. Loosely secure the Left and Right Side Roller Mount Brackets using the M8 Button Head Bolts and M8 Schnorr Washers.

Step 2.3: Final Adjustment

Center the Cargo Roller from left to right. Using a 5mm Allen Key, fully tighten all the fasteners. Tip: Fully tighten one side's Mount Bracket before applying light pressure when tightening the other side.

Safety and Maintenance

You are responsible for checking the attachments prior to use and periodically inspecting the products for adjustment, wear, and damage. The required tightening torque for M8 fasteners is 15-20Nm (11.06 ft lb - 14.75 ft lb).

Common problems

Roller not centered

Center the Cargo Roller from left to right before final tightening of the fasteners.

Difficulty tightening brackets

Fully tighten one side's Mount Bracket before applying light pressure when tightening the other side.

Before use

  • Verify all components are present (Roller, Mounts, Spacers, Washers, Bolts, Nuts).
  • Ensure you have a 5mm Allen Key.
  • Check that the roof rack slats are clean and ready for installation.
  • Read all safety warnings regarding vehicle attachment.
