Safety Information
WARNING: Read all safety warnings and instructions. Failure to follow them may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury. Always wear ear protection and a dust mask when operating the tool. Ensure the power switch is in the OFF position before inserting the battery to prevent accidental startup.
Operation
Before use, ensure the battery is fully charged. Insert the battery firmly into the tool. Use the side handle for better control, especially when drilling in concrete. The tool features a power/save mode; use the power mode for heavy-duty tasks and the save mode for lighter applications. Do not use the save mode for drilling in wood as it may cause the motor to lock up.
Maintenance and Inspection
Always turn off the switch and remove the battery before performing maintenance. Regularly inspect all mounting screws for tightness. The motor is the heart of the tool; ensure the winding is not damaged or wet. Carbon brushes are consumable parts; replace them when they reach the wear limit. Store the tool in a dry place below 40°C, out of reach of children.
Battery Care
To extend the life of the lithium-ion battery, it is equipped with a protection function. If the tool is overloaded or the battery overheats, the motor may stop. In such cases, release the switch and allow the battery to cool before resuming work. Keep battery terminals free of metal debris to prevent short circuits.
