This document provides essential operating instructions for the Hilti AG 125-7SE 05 and AG 125-8SE 05 angle grinders. These tools are designed for professional use in cutting, grinding, and sanding metal and mineral materials. Always ensure the tool is used with the correct guard and accessories for the specific application.
Description
The angle grinder features an arbor lockbutton, on/off switch, speed adjustment thumbwheel, and side handle. It is designed for use with 125 mm discs. The AG 125-7SE has a speed range of 6000-11500 rpm, while the AG 125-8SE ranges from 3500-11500 rpm.

Operation
Before starting, ensure the side handle is securely attached. To fit the guard, release the clamping lever, position the guard on the spindle collar, and secure it by closing the lever. Always disconnect the power plug before changing accessories. When cutting, apply moderate pressure and hold the tool at a 90-degree angle to the surface. For rough grinding, maintain a 5 to 30-degree angle of attack.

Maintenance
Regularly clean the air vents with a dry brush. Do not use water or steam cleaners. If the tool fails to start, check the power supply, supply cord, and carbon brushes. If the tool is overloaded, release the switch and allow it to run under no load for 30 seconds. Repairs to electrical parts must be performed by trained specialists.

Safety
Always wear eye protection and use both hands. Do not use the standard guard for cutting operations. Ensure the workpiece is secured with clamps. Avoid contact with live wires and keep the cord clear of the spinning accessory. Never use damaged accessories or cut-off wheels for grinding.
