Product Overview

The Horizont 14495E is a compact and portable fence tester designed for quick and easy voltage checks on electric fences. It is an essential tool for maintaining fence performance and ensuring animal safety.

Operation

The device is designed for simple, one-handed operation. No external grounding is required for the measurement, as the human body serves as the reference point.

• Place your index finger in the recess located on the underside of the device to ensure proper contact.
• Place the contact point of the fence tester against the fence material.
• Press the control button to initiate the measurement.
• The voltage level will be indicated by the LED display.

Voltage Indicators

The device features 6 control displays to provide clear feedback on the fence voltage:

• > 10,000 - 6,000 V: Green light
• 6,000 - 4,000 V: Green light
• 4,000 - 2,000 V: Green light
• < 2,000 V: Red light

Maintenance and Battery

The device operates on a standard 9V block battery, which is included with the product. A dedicated battery control indicator is provided to monitor power levels. If the battery indicator light turns red, the battery must be replaced immediately to ensure accurate readings.
