Operation

The product uses a two-cycle engine requiring a 50:1 gasoline/oil mixture. Use fresh, unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 90 RON (87 AKI) and less than 10% ethanol. Mix fuel in a clean container and do not prepare more than a 30-day supply.

Starting the engine

  1. Fill the fuel tank with the correct mixture.
  2. Press the primer bulb 10 times.
  3. Set the choke to the FULL CHOKE (closed) position.
  4. Set the variable speed control fully counterclockwise.
  5. Hold the machine on the ground and pull the starter rope handle until the engine attempts to start (max 3 times).
  6. Move the choke to the 1/2 position and pull until the engine starts.
  7. Run for 10 seconds, then move the choke to the OFF CHOKE (open) position.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance is crucial for product longevity and safety. Perform daily checks on external surfaces, throttle function, stop switch, and air filter. Weekly maintenance includes checking the starter device, spark plug electrode gap (0.6 mm), and cleaning the impeller blades. Yearly maintenance involves a thorough inspection of the spark plug, fuel filter, and cooling system.

Safety

Always wear approved personal protective equipment, including hearing protection, eye protection, and a dust mask in dusty environments. Keep a safe distance of at least 15 meters from other people or animals. Do not operate the product if you are tired, ill, or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
