Product Overview

Safety Instructions

Assembly and Setup

For mulching or side discharge, follow the specific instructions to install the mulch plug or side discharge deflector.

Operation

Before starting, ensure the ignition cable is connected to the spark plug and the fuel tank is filled with unleaded gasoline (minimum 90 octane). To start, hold the engine brake handle against the handlebar and pull the starter rope. For the LC 151S, engage the drive bail to activate the wheel drive. Always stop the engine by releasing the engine brake handle before performing any adjustments or maintenance.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance is essential for optimal performance and safety. Key tasks include:

• General Inspection: Check all nuts and screws for tightness.
• Oil Change: Replace engine oil after the first 5 hours of use, then every 50 hours.
• Cutting Equipment: Regularly examine the blade for damage or bluntness. If the blade hits an obstacle, have it inspected by an authorized service agent.
• Air Filter: Clean or replace the air filter regularly, especially in dusty conditions.
• Spark Plug: Inspect and clean the spark plug, ensuring the correct electrode gap.

Troubleshooting

If the engine fails to start, check the ignition cable connection, fuel level, and fuel quality. If the engine runs roughly, inspect the air filter, fuel system, and carburetor settings. Always consult an authorized Husqvarna service agent for complex repairs.

Transportation and Disposal

Empty the fuel tank before long-term storage. Store the product in a dry, frost-free, and locked area. Dispose of the product and chemicals like oil and fuel according to local recycling regulations.
