Safety Warnings

• Electrical Safety: Do not open the ballast case. Do not submerge in water. Do not plug into untested or unidentified voltage.
• Handling: Always wear soft cotton or surgical gloves when handling the lamp to prevent oil transfer from skin to the glass.
• Maintenance: Disconnect power before moving the unit or changing the lamp. Allow the lamp to cool for at least 1 hour before touching or attempting a hot restrike.
• Installation: Do not support the ballast by the power cord. Ensure the fixture is hung completely level to prevent lamp failure.
• Interference: Keep away from devices that transmit radio signals (mobile devices, walkie-talkies, microwaves) to avoid interference.

Installation Procedure

1. Find a suitable location with sufficient cooling, away from heat sources.
2. Use the included hanging cables to suspend the fixture. Ensure it is completely level to the ground.
3. Install the lamp into the roll-lock socket using gloves.
4. Plug the power cord into the power source.
5. For proper lamp break-in, run the fixture at 100% power for at least 100 hours after initial startup.

Operation and Dimming

The fixture features a dimming dial to cycle through output levels. If the lamp fails to start, do not cycle the power on and off repeatedly. If the lamp does not light after 30 minutes, shut off power, wait, and reconnect. The ballast dims or raises output gradually to protect the lamp, so changes may not be instantaneous.
