This manual provides instructions for the Lauben Vacuum Sealer 10WT. It covers operation, maintenance, and safety guidelines for vacuum sealing food. The device features an NTC intelligent temperature regulation system to prevent overheating.
Getting to know the device
Buttons:


- Stop button: Halts all operations.
- Vac Seal button: Automatically vacuums and seals food. Hold for longer for wet ingredients.
- Seal button: Performs the sealing function automatically.
Parts:
- Seal, Left/Right open buttons, Drain groove, Sealing strip, Bag/film holder, Bag/film cutter.
Vacuuming and sealing
- Plug the appliance into the mains.
- Ensure the vacuum bag opening is debris-free and smooth.
- Position the bag's open end in the drain groove and place it in the bag holder.
- Secure the lid until a click is heard.
- Press the Vac Seal button.
- Once finished, press the side opening buttons to release the lid and retrieve the bag.
Note: A textured (embossed) bag is required for vacuum sealing. Regular bags can only be sealed.

Sealing only
- Place the bag's open end between the sealing strip and the seal.
- Secure the lid with both hands until a click is heard.
- Press the Seal button.
- Press the release buttons on both sides, open the lid, and retrieve the bag.
Using the cutter

- Remove the cutter from its compartment within the vacuum sealer.
- Make a slight incision on one side of the bag using the cutter.
- Hold the bag's open end and glide the cutter from one side to the opposite end.
Troubleshooting
If a vacuum is not forming in the bag:
- Check for food residue, grease, or dirt at the sealing point.
- Ensure there are no creases in the bag at the seal.
- Check for sharp items inside the bag that might puncture it.
Safety and maintenance
The device features an NTC intelligent temperature regulation system. If the sealing strip temperature exceeds the safety threshold, the device shifts to a protective mode (indicator blinks, controls inactive). It will resume normal function once cooled (typically in about 2 minutes). It is advisable to allow a 30-second interval between consecutive sealing cycles.
