This document provides essential instructions for installing and operating the Livarno Thermostatic Shower Mixer. It is intended for use with pressure-tight hot water systems. Please read all safety instructions carefully before beginning installation.

Installation

Before starting, turn off the main water supply. To prevent scratches, use a damp cloth or plastic clamps when tightening parts.

  1. Install the tap at the wall connection.
  2. Wrap the S-connectors with sealing tape.
  3. Screw the nuts onto the connectors using a spanner or adjustable wrench.
  4. Connect your shower hose to the threaded connector and attach the shower head.
  5. Flush the tap by opening the main water supply and letting water run for 2 minutes before first use.

Operation

The mixer features two main controls:

  • Water flow switch: Turn upward to increase flow, downward to reduce.
  • Water temperature switch: Turn downward to raise temperature, upward to lower.

Eco-stop function: To increase water flow beyond the Eco-stop limit, press the push button on the flow switch while turning it upward.

Temperature limit: The mixer includes a safety limit to prevent accidental settings above +38 °C. To set a higher temperature, press the push button on the temperature switch while turning it downward.

Maintenance and cleaning

To maintain the surface and functionality:

  • Clean only with clear water, mild detergent, and a soft cloth or leather.
  • Do not use corrosive or alcohol-based cleaning agents.
  • To prevent limescale, unscrew and clean the cartridge every 3 months.
