The M5Stack HUB UNIT is a hardware expansion module designed to increase the number of available GROVE ports on M5Stack devices. It allows for connecting multiple sensors or output devices simultaneously, overcoming the limitation of having only a few GROVE ports on the main device.
Description
The unit acts as a hardware expander for the GROVE interface. It is particularly useful when you need to connect sensors with different I2C addresses or output to three devices at once.
Important Limitations
Please note that this is a hardware-only expander. It does not perform software protocol expansion (such as I2C or Single-bus protocol expansion). If your project requires software protocol expansion, please use the PaHUB or PbHUB modules instead.
I2C Device Connection
If you connect two I2C slave devices that share the same address, you will encounter data conflicts. To resolve this, ensure that the I2C addresses of your devices are different. If necessary, you can change the addresses manually by modifying the resistor values on the devices.

Common problems
Cannot get data from two I2C devices connected to the HUB.
Ensure the I2C addresses of the devices are different. If they share the same address, you must change them manually by modifying resistor values.

The HUB UNIT is a hardware-only expander. Use PaHUB or PbHUB for software protocol expansion.
