The VARDAFLEX LED Strip Paket 2 - Profi is designed for indoor use in dry environments. Installation must be performed by a professional electrician to ensure compliance with European safety directives and to maintain warranty coverage. The system requires a 24 V DC power supply and must be operated fully unrolled.

Installation

Ensure the power is switched off before starting the installation. Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of grease. If the surface is current-carrying, an insulating layer must be placed between the LED strip and the surface. Remove the protective foil and press the strip onto the surface, avoiding direct pressure on the electronic components.

Shortening the LED strip

The LED strip can be cut every eight LEDs (62.5 mm) at the marked points. Always ensure the power is disconnected before cutting. For narrow strips, use a micro side cutter or a standard cutter.

Mounting the connector

To assemble the connector, remove the protective film from the strip, flip up the connector cover, and insert the strip until it is flush at the back. Fold down the cover and press it together using a tool like pliers until a clicking sound is heard on both sides. Ensure the plastic cover is fully closed and the strip is correctly contacted. For cable connections, insert the cable into the connector, ensuring it is positioned at the back and aligned with the notches before closing the cover.

Safety instructions

• The LED controller is not waterproof; protect it from rain and direct sunlight.
• For outdoor use, the controller must be housed in a waterproof enclosure.
• Ensure good ventilation at the installation site to maintain proper operating temperature.
• Verify that the power adapter voltage and polarity (anode/cathode) match the controller requirements.
• Never connect cables while the power is on; always check for short circuits first.
• Do not attempt repairs yourself, as this will void the manufacturer's warranty.
