Product Overview

The Sealey 1800W High Efficiency Carbon Fibre Infrared Wall Heater provides instant, dry heat without condensation, gas, fumes, or smells. It is designed for both industrial and domestic applications and is suitable for outdoor use with an IP65 rating. The unit features a highly polished aluminium reflector for maximum efficiency and can be controlled via a push-on/off switch or the included remote control.

Safety Instructions

Warning: Always read and understand safety requirements before use. The heater must be installed with a minimum clearance of 1000mm from any object, 300mm from the ceiling, and 1800mm from the floor. Do not use the heater near flammable gases or dust. Never touch the heating element glass directly with fingers; use a soft cloth to avoid damage. The unit includes a built-in tilt switch that automatically turns off the heater if it is tilted beyond 25 degrees.

Installation

Ensure the mounting surface can support the weight of the heater. Use the provided wall bracket as a template to drill holes and insert wall fixings. The lower fixing screws should be at a minimum height of 1600mm. Once the bracket is secured, mount the heater assembly and clamp it into position using the thumb screw. The angle of the heater can be adjusted up to 25 degrees to direct heat as required.

Operation

Plug in the heater and switch it on using the base button; a flashing blue light indicates standby mode. Use the control panel or remote to activate the heater. When finished, switch off using the base button and unplug the unit. If the heater does not turn on after being moved, ensure it is in a vertical position or gently tilt it to reset the internal safety switch.

Maintenance and Disposal

Always disconnect from the power supply and allow the heater to cool completely before cleaning. Use a soft damp cloth and mild detergent; do not use abrasive cleaners or liquids. To replace remote control batteries, slide off the battery cover and insert two new AAA batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries. Dispose of the product and batteries in accordance with local environmental regulations and WEEE directives.
