The Sharper Image SDC301 is a Full HD 1080P dash camera designed for vehicle recording. Before using the device, ensure you have a compatible Micro SD card (Class 6 or higher, max 32GB) and charge the unit for 2-4 hours. The camera supports automatic loop recording, motion detection, and a parking guard feature.

The camera features several physical buttons and ports:

Setting up the Camera

- Mounting: Slide the windshield mount onto the camera until it clicks into place. Attach the suction cup to your windshield and secure the mount.
- Charging: Connect the provided charging cable to the USB port on the camera and the other end to your vehicle's cigarette lighter. The LED indicator will turn red while charging and turn off when finished.
Using the Camera
Recording Video: Once the camera is connected to power, it will automatically begin recording when the engine starts. To record manually, press the Record button.
Taking a Picture: Switch the camera to Photo mode using the Mode button, then press the Record button to capture an image.
Playback and File Management: Switch to Gallery mode using the Mode button. Use the navigation buttons to browse saved files. You can view, delete, or lock files to prevent them from being overwritten during loop recording.
