Quick guide from the manual

The V-TAC VT-303 is a portable energy storage power supply designed for various electronic devices. Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the battery. The device features multiple output options including AC, DC, and USB ports. Always ensure the device is used in a well-ventilated, dry environment and kept away from extreme heat or fire.

Charging the device

Use the provided charger to charge the unit. The LED screen displays the current charging status. A full charge takes approximately 7.5 hours using the standard charger. Other charging methods include a car charger (approx. 9 hours) or a 100W solar panel (approx. 10 hours, depending on sunlight intensity). The device supports solar charge controllers between 12-24V.

Operation and usage

To power on the device, use the power key. Each output section (DC, USB, AC) has a dedicated button to activate the respective port. When the corresponding indicator light is on, the port is ready for use. To save power, turn off the output ports when not in use. The device includes an integrated cooling fan, which may produce slight noise during operation.

Safety warnings

  • Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician.
  • Do not dismantle the product; this poses a risk of fire, explosion, or electric shock.
  • Do not use damaged cables or plugs.
  • Keep the device away from children and do not expose it to temperatures above 130°C.
  • Charge the product at least every three months to maintain battery health.
  • This product cannot be taken on a plane as it exceeds the 100Wh limit for lithium batteries.

Troubleshooting

If the device fails to charge, check the connection between the charger and the power source. If there is no output, ensure the specific port switch is turned on and the device is not in a low-power state. If an alarm sounds or an error symbol appears on the screen, it may indicate an overload, short circuit, or overheating (above 75°C). The device will automatically shut down output in case of a short circuit.

Practical help

Common problems

Product cannot be charged

Check if the charger is properly connected to the power supply. If the indicator remains off, contact customer service.

No output from ports

Ensure the specific output switch (DC, USB, or AC) is turned on and the device is sufficiently charged.

Output interrupts during use

The device may be overloaded if the equipment's starting power exceeds the unit's capacity. Select a higher power storage product.

Alarm sounds or error symbol appears

This indicates a short circuit, overload, or overheating. The device will automatically turn off output within 15 seconds.

Before use

  • Fully charge the battery before the first use.
  • Ensure the environment is dry and well-ventilated.
  • Verify that all cables and plugs are undamaged.
  • Check that the equipment power requirements are within the rated output of the VT-303.
  • Ensure the device is not exposed to direct sunlight or high temperatures.

Specs in practice

Battery Capacity: 252Wh
Total energy storage capacity of the internal lithium battery.
