This guide provides essential instructions for setting up and maintaining your Alienware Pro Wireless Gaming Keyboard. It covers initial power-on, wireless connectivity options, charging, and basic hardware customization.

Device setup and connectivity

To begin using your keyboard, ensure it is powered on using the switch located on the back panel. The keyboard supports multiple connection modes:

• 2.4GHz Wireless: Connect the provided USB-A to USB-C adapter and dongle to your computer. Ensure the keyboard switch is set to the 2.4GHz position.
• Bluetooth: To pair via Bluetooth, hold the connection button for 3 seconds to cycle through the available Bluetooth channels (1, 2, or 3). The corresponding indicator light will blink, signaling pairing mode.

Charging

The keyboard is charged via the USB-C port located on the back. Connect the provided USB-C to USB-A cable to your computer or a compatible power source to charge the internal battery.

Lighting and settings

You can adjust the keyboard brightness directly using the following function key combinations:

• Decrease brightness: Fn + F5
• Increase brightness: Fn + F6

Maintenance and switch replacement

The keyboard supports hot-swappable switches. To replace a switch:

1. Use the provided keycap and switch puller tool to gently remove the keycap.
2. Use the switch puller to pull the mechanical switch straight out of the socket.
3. Align the pins of the new switch with the socket and press firmly until it clicks into place.
