The Amazon Basics 100ml Ultrasonic Aromatherapy Essential Oil Diffuser is designed to add moisture to the air and diffuse essential oils or homemade fragrances. It features integrated LED color lighting to enhance your environment. This device is intended for private, indoor use only and should not be used as a medical humidifier or respirator.
Safety Instructions
Read all instructions carefully before use. To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, keep the device out of reach of children and never insert objects into the mist nozzle. Do not use pure essential oils or homemade fragrances without water. Always disconnect the power adapter before filling or cleaning the unit. If you notice unusual noise or smells, stop using the product immediately.
Operation
To fill the water tank, remove the plastic housing and tank cap. Fill the tank with cool distilled water up to the maximum water level line. Add a few drops of essential oil or fragrance. Place the cap back on and reattach the housing. Connect the power adapter to the DC input socket and a wall outlet. Press the power button once to start diffusion. Use the Light/Mode button to cycle through LED colors or turn them off. A periodic diffusion mode is available by holding the Light/Mode button for 2 seconds, which operates the device in 30-second intervals.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Clean the water tank every 3 days to prevent buildup. Rinse the tank with a solution of 1 tablespoon of citric acid and 100ml of hot water (70°C). Let it sit for 5 minutes, then pour out the solution and wipe the tank with a soft cloth. Use a cotton bud to clean the ultrasonic plate. Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, or abrasive scrubbers. Always unplug the device before cleaning and never immerse the power adapter in water.
Troubleshooting
If the device does not switch on, check the power adapter connection and the wall outlet. If there is no mist, ensure the tank is filled and the mist nozzle is not obstructed. If the device leaks, verify the tank cap is properly seated and the tank is not damaged. If an unpleasant odor occurs, clean the water tank and replace the water.
