The Ansmann Basic II is a compact charger designed for 1-2 NiMH AA or AAA batteries. To operate, insert the batteries into the slots observing the correct polarity, connect the provided USB cable to a power source (minimum 1A), and the red LED will indicate that the time-controlled charging process has begun. The charger automatically stops after approximately 18 hours.
Safety instructions
- Do not use non-rechargeable batteries: Never insert alkaline or lithium batteries, as this poses a fire and explosion risk.
- Indoor use only: Use the charger only in closed, dry, and spacious rooms.
- Moisture: Do not use the device if it is wet or with wet hands. Do not use in rain or damp areas.
- Damage: Check batteries for damage before charging. Do not use the product if the batteries or the charger are damaged.
- Supervision: Keep away from children; this product is not a toy.
Operation
- Insert each rechargeable battery into the charge bay, ensuring the polarity (+ and -) matches the markings.
- Connect the charger to a USB power source (e.g., mains adapter, power bank, PC) using the provided USB cable.
- The charging indicator for each battery will illuminate in red, signaling the start of the time-controlled charge.
- Do not insert additional batteries while a charge cycle is already in progress, as this may prevent a full charge.
- After approximately 18 hours, the charging process ends automatically, and the indicator light turns off.
- Remove the batteries and disconnect the charger from the power supply.
Note: To start a new charging process, you must disconnect the charger from the power supply to reset the timer.
