The Baby Einstein Ocean Explorers Curiosity Cove 2-in-1 Activity Jumper is designed for infants who meet specific developmental milestones. Safety is paramount: use this product only if the child is at least 6 months old, can sit up unassisted, is less than 30 inches (76.2 cm) tall, and weighs less than 25 lbs (11 kg). Do not use the product if the child can already stand or walk on their own.

Safety warnings

• Fall Hazard: Never leave the child unattended. Always keep the child in view. Do not use near stairs or on elevated surfaces.
• Strangulation Hazard: Do not place items with strings around the child's neck (e.g., pacifier cords, hood strings). Do not attach strings to toys or suspend them over the product.
• General Safety: Do not use the product as a swing. Ensure all leg height adjustments are set to the same level before placing the child in the seat.

Battery installation

The electronic features require (3) AA (1.5V) alkaline batteries (not included). To install:

• Use a screwdriver to open the battery compartment on the turtle toy.
• Insert batteries matching the polarity (+/-) markings.
• Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
• Replace batteries if functions (sound, lights) become erratic or fail.

Assembly instructions

Adult assembly is required. Follow these steps:

1. Assemble the base tubes.
2. Attach the play surface with the three spring legs to the base.
3. Insert the seat ring into the play surface.
4. Attach the seat pad to the seat ring, securing it properly.
5. Attach the various toys (Neptune piano, hanging toys, etc.) to the play surface as indicated in the parts diagram.

Operating instructions

Seat Height Adjustment: Ensure the jumper seat height is correctly adjusted so the child's feet are not flat on the floor. Adjust the straps on the legs to the appropriate height.

Turtle Toy Operation: The turtle toy features a switch to control power (OFF), volume (Low/High), and modes (Melody, Piano, Learning).

Care and cleaning

• Seat pad: Machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle. Do not bleach. Tumble dry on low heat.
• Plastic parts: Wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Air dry. Do not immerse in water.
• Frame: Wipe the metal frame with a soft, clean cloth and mild soap.

Storage

To store the product, disassemble the unit by reversing the assembly steps, ensuring all parts are kept together.
