Quick Guide
This document provides installation and maintenance instructions for the Better Bathrooms 1160mm Pneumatic Frame and Cistern (BeBa_27485). It is recommended that installation is carried out by professional tradespeople. Ensure all installation work complies with Water Bylaw Regulations and that the design allows for future maintenance access.

Parts and Tools
The kit includes the tank, frame, wall fixing brackets, flush pipe, pan connector, and various protective covers. Required tools include a screwdriver, spanner, pencil, drill, spirit level, 10mm drill bit, and a hacksaw.
Installation
Fitting the Pan Connector: Position the connector into the frame clip in the rear or front recess depending on your installation requirement and close the clip.
Adjusting Frame Height: Loosen the nuts and bolts in the fixing brackets to adjust the height and depth. Ensure the frame is level before tightening.
Securing the Frame: Drill holes using a 10mm bit. If drilling into tiles, use tape to prevent slippage. Secure the wall bracket to the wall, position the frame, and tighten all fixings.
Fitting Protective Covers: Before building the wall, fit protective covers to the flush plate housing, flush pipe, and pan connector. Screw the threaded bars into the frame to match the toilet holes.
Connecting and Hanging the Toilet: Push the pan connector into the frame and the flush pipe into the toilet. Unscrew the threaded bars to the required depth (wall depth + 25mm). Lift the toilet onto the bars and secure with the provided fixings.
Water Connection
Connect the water supply to the cistern tank using a suitable sealing method. The cistern features a built-in stop valve. Once connected, you may proceed to build the partition wall and tile as required.
Maintenance and Adjustments
Maintenance requires access to the internal cistern tank and turning off the water supply.
- Adjusting Fill Volume: Turn the adjustment screw on the inlet valve to the required direction.
- Cleaning the Filter: Unscrew the filter section from the inlet valve and clean under warm water with a brush.
- Adjusting Flush Volume: Move the slider on the syphon to adjust the flush volume.
- Replacing the Inlet Valve: Disconnect the water supply, remove the retaining nut, and pull the valve from the tank.
Troubleshooting
Cistern not filling: Check that the water supply is turned on, adjust the fill level, or check if the inlet valve filter is blocked. If the issue persists, replace the inlet valve.
Insufficient flush volume: Adjust the flush volume level on the syphon, check that the syphon is opening correctly, and ensure tubes are connected to the correct inlet on the flush plate.
Water running continually: Check if the water level reaches the overflow on the syphon. If it does, adjust the inlet valve. If the water level is below the overflow, remove the top section of the syphon and check the washer for damage.
