Product Description

The Bosch GCM 12 GDL Professional is a stationary sliding mitre saw engineered for making straight cuts in wood, chipboard, and fiberboard. With the use of appropriate saw blades, it is also capable of cutting aluminum profiles and plastic. It features a wide mitre angle range of -52° to +60° and a bevel angle range of 47° (left) to 47° (right).

Safety Instructions

Mitre Saw Safety: Always keep hands at least 100 mm away from the saw blade. Never cross your hands over the cutting line. Ensure the workpiece is securely clamped against the fence and table. Always allow the blade to reach full speed before starting the cut.

Setup and Operation

Mounting: The tool must be mounted on a flat, stable surface or a compatible Bosch saw stand (e.g., GTA 2500 W, GTA 3700, GTA 3800) before use.

Operation: To switch on, slide the lock-off button to the middle and press the on/off switch. The tool features a starting current limitation for smooth operation. Always ensure the glide arm is unlocked before use and secured in the transport position when moving the tool.

Maintenance and Care

Cleaning: Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean for safe operation. Regularly clean the guide roller and the glide arm. Always remove dust and chips after use using compressed air or a brush.

Troubleshooting: If the saw blade or workpiece becomes jammed, turn off the tool, wait for all moving parts to stop, and disconnect the power plug before clearing the obstruction.

Disposal

The power tool, accessories, and packaging should be recycled in an environmentally friendly manner. Do not dispose of power tools with household waste.
