This manual provides essential operating instructions for the Bosch GDS 18V-1000, 18V-1050 H, 18V-1000 C, and 18V-1050 HC cordless impact wrenches. Always remove the battery before performing any maintenance or tool changes to prevent accidental startup.
Device Description
The tool features a tool holder (1), rotational direction switch (2), and an on/off switch (8). Models with 'C' or 'HC' suffix include a user interface (7) for speed preselection and mode selection. The tool is designed for driving and loosening screws and bolts.
Assembly
To change the tool, remove the battery and slide the application tool (10) onto the square drive of the tool holder (1). Ensure the tool is securely connected. The ladder clip (4) can be attached to the tool; ensure the screw is tightened to 2.0–2.5 Nm.

Operation
The tool operates in two phases: screwing and tightening (impact mechanism). The impact mechanism activates when the screw connection becomes tight. Set the rotational direction using switch (2). Speed and impact rate are controlled by the pressure applied to the on/off switch (8).
User Interface (C/HC models)
The user interface (7) allows for speed preselection (16) and working mode selection (14). Status indicators (11) provide feedback: green (OK), yellow (critical temperature/low battery), red (overheated/empty battery), and blue (Bluetooth connection).

Maintenance and Cleaning
Regularly clean the air vents to prevent dust accumulation. Always remove the battery before any maintenance. For service, contact Bosch professional service centers.
