The GSB 12V-15 is a cordless combi drill designed for drilling in wood, metal, ceramic, and plastic, as well as impact drilling in brick, masonry, and stone. It also functions as a screwdriver.
Operation
Inserting the Battery: Set the rotational direction switch to the middle position to prevent accidental starting. Insert the charged battery into the handle until it engages audibly.
Setting Rotational Direction: Use the rotational direction switch to change the direction. Right rotation is for drilling and driving screws; left rotation is for loosening screws and nuts.
Operating Modes: Use the operating mode presetting ring to select between drilling, screwdriving, or impact drilling.
Torque Preselection: The torque presetting ring allows you to select the required torque in 20 stages.
Mechanical Gear Selection: Use the gear selector switch only when the tool is at a standstill. Gear I is for low speeds (large drilling diameter or screwdriving), and Gear II is for high speeds (small drilling diameter).
Maintenance and Cleaning
Always remove the battery before performing any work on the tool (e.g., maintenance, tool change, transport, or storage). Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean for safe and efficient operation.
